Andrea Navedo (born Andrea Navedo) is a published American actor, author, and writer. She began her career on the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she played a variety of supporting roles on the primetime television. Andrea Navedo has been an American actor and singer since the 10th of October, 1977. From 1995 until 1997 she was a part of the cast as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. Then, in 1999, she changed her name to Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. She began her career on film with a small part on the show Girl 6 (1996), then she starred on the episodes New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo played a role as a co-star on Double Take (2001), an action film, as well as on Washington Heights (2002). From 2001 to 2004 Navedo had a recurring role on the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova.
